A Look Back at Copenhagen
We were only in Copenhagen for a couple of days but despite our short timeline and the wet weather we managed to see a lot. Our first night we visited Tivoli to see the imaginative rides:

Midsommar
On Thursday we took the train to Almhult to meet up with Ian’s parents on the farm of some family friends. It’s Midsommar (Midsummer) in Sweden this weekend and there are lots of festivities happening in the small towns surrounding the farm.
Exploring Stockholm
We had one full day in Stockholm and, in our usual style, walked about 10 miles trying to see all of it. We started with delicious pastries at Petrus, a cafe near us in Sodermalm.
A Good Start
Our flight was delayed departing Oakland and we hit some complications using our credit cards to get bus tickets from the airport to Stockholm, but this made it all worth it:
Goodbye Party
As much as we are looking forward to this trip, we are really going to miss our friends! We had a nice goodbye party with some of our closest friends at Off the Grid in the Presidio yesterday, where we enjoyed a food truck feast and some really special beers.
